Understanding

Screening is an effective first step if someone is struggling with written tasks or processing written information, and yet they have other abilities which show they do have capacity to work at an appropriate level for their role.

Our dyslexia screening, conducted by a qualified professional, is 98% accurate (+/- 2%) in identifying specific traits of dyslexia. This is a cost-effective way to establish recommendations for reasonable adjustments in work and training.

How we can help

Dyslexia Screening is provided by an experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant trained and certified by The Dyslexia Foundation to deliver adult dyslexia screening. It will include:

A cost-effective, evidence-based, supportive and employment-focused dyslexia assessment delivered on a one-to-one basis
A screening method which is approximately 98% accurate (+/- 2%) and is delivered using a range of assessment tools

A screening report which details the results of screening and includes recommendations for strategies, resources and reasonable adjustments to support training and employment

Dyslexia screening is suited to individuals who have:

A history of difficulties with literacy / numeracy and learning
Undergone screening or diagnosis previously but are not able to evidence this Never been screened or assessed for dyslexia

A history of functioning well in practical / manual employment roles but present with difficulties with training / changing job roles

Benefits include:

Identifying areas of specific support needs to enable tailored reasonable adjustments to be made
